Last month, we introduced you to the first six Canadian producers selected to participate in the new RDVCANADA initiative | Meet the Series 2020-2021! Ready to meet the full set of participants of this exciting online program?
First, a quick recap
This six-month program strives to help our participants develop their series projects for international sales or find an international coproducer.
Guided and mentored by consulting audiovisual industry experts Tania de Montaigne and Frédéric Pittoors d’Haveskercke (who under the supervision of the Canada Media Fund and the Canadian Trade Commissioners Service, also managed the selection process), the initiative focuses on four major industry events taking place during this time period: Content London, Series Market – Berlin, MIPTV and Séries Mania.

Meet the Docs
While the RDVCANADA initiative | Meet the Series 2020-2021 will be ending in June 2021, the opportunities live on; another online Meet the program is kicking off soon! This time, we’re excited to offer documentary producers a chance to take part in Meet the Docs! That’s right, 10 Canadian TV companies will be selected for six months of mentorship during four events: MIPTV, Hot Docs, Sunny Side of the Doc, and MIPCOM.
